Steiner Waldorf education is an integrated and holistic education. It strives to provide for the rounded and harmonious development of the whole human being, balancing the development of cognitive faculties with the cultivation of social, artistic and imaginative capacities and engagement in practical skills and experiences.

The curriculum gives equal attention to supporting the healthy development of the physical, social, emotional, intellectual, moral, cultural and spiritual needs of each child.

In the third 7-year stage of 14-21 years marks adolescence. This period marks the development of abstract and conceptual thinking. The curriculum becomes more specialized and intellectually challenging, with a focus on truth and self-discovery. Students engage in rigorous academic studies, independent projects, and community service, preparing them for higher education and adult life. are seen as entering a phase of emotional and imaginative development. The curriculum includes rich storytelling, artistic activities, hands-on learning, and an emphasis on the beauty of the world. Subjects are integrated and taught in a holistic manner, often through main lesson blocks that can last several weeks.

In the adolescent years the focus moves to truth. This period is characterized by the development of critical thinking and intellectual understanding. The curriculum becomes more academically rigorous, encouraging students to seek truth through scientific inquiry, philosophical exploration, and self-reflection. The aim is to help students develop the ability to discern truth, think independently, and engage with complex ideas and concepts.
